File corruption.

Do you have the original content saved somewhere else?

I was unable to do so last week, but printed photocopied from mag. itself and used this. Now I need to attach it or download into an email.

I've never been able to work my scanner/fax from day one. I did ask here, but haven't any clue about 'twain interface' blahbah...I glaze over and Life is too short. Directions should be clear and simple.

What might I be able to do? Suppose I could take pic and attach this, but is there something more efficient?

Well if it isn't too long, retype it?

One other thought is do you have the original file. Maybe you've but it through a program that doesn't recognise the language. Where did you type the article on? MS Word? Works?

No, not my article, but one a noted author/countryman [career and retirement in our lucky village]writes in village mag. each month
......and I am still trying to grasp the need for 'wrote'.
I arrived last night, in falling snow, to learn this - a good man gone from us, 7.14 Tuesday night.
The point is that they're all available on village website and I'd downloaded the preceding 3 sans problème. Did so again this morning...

Whither next?

Where and what is the destination? - where is the end result?

You say you have copied - exactly how? from what to where?
Cut and pasted - same comments

What are you trying to do, what PC/ operating system/ programs are you trying to use?

Now I have cut and pasted your post here on the board, now you have not said how you have tried to paste that data , was it in say Word, Excel, Notepad and what you are using to copy e.g. from Internet Explorer , Firefox, a piece of paper , a mobile phone or ....

Perhaps you care to advise me not to reply either, I guess the other poster must have upset you in a previous thread ??
