Or just mice
!!!
So none of them were in stock...but I went and had a look in comet and got a Microsoft wireless mouse 3500 studio series for £4.99 which I was pretty pleased with!!! Mine broke yesterday and I don't get on too well with the laptop thing when I'm writing essays etc!!! I'm not sure the original price because there wasn't a label so I just took it and asked!! Hope this helps someone!0 -
I managed to have John lewis do a price check/promise for the logitech one, so paid
£4.97, thanks OP0 -
How strange? Neither are available anywhere near to where I live either (South Staffordshire) :mad:Kevan - a disabled old so and so who, despite being in pain 24/7 still manages to smile as much as possible

John Lewis website states: "Standard delivery within 5 working days £3" - how did you get free delivery..?0

I went into john lewis and asked them to do a price match on the spot since they had the mouse on display at around £10 ... (something). I think if the difference is for a small sum like £5-10 they will be able to price match in shop, if its a larg difference u need to fill in form and it would take a couple of days. HTH.0

Sorry, I was ready the delivery details on a more expense mouse that was over £30.
I would still go the JL price match route if you can get delivered to near-by. I have had Jl price match 2 x PVRs and 2 x TVs since the beginnign of November 2011 with no problems at all (and free extra year(s) on the warranties)0 -
Ref these mice, in case anyone still wants one. As of today (23/2/12) the Logitech M235 seems to have disappeared from the Currys website, but the same mouse in grey is on the PC World website @ £4.97 (I would post the link but I'm not allowed). BUT - they are not available for home delivery and no stores (at least near central Fife) appear to have them in stock.
However, this afternoon I managed to snag one for £4.97 at the Kirkcaldy branch of Comet. Their list price is £19.99 so I said that it was on the PC World website @ £4.97 and asked if they would price-match. The assistant checked the PC World website, confirmed the price; asked me if they had any in stock at PC World (4 doors along) to which I replied innocently that I hadn't been in there yet. She then telephoned someone to query whether they would price-match. The answer was obviously "Yes" because 30 seconds later the cashier was taking a fiver off me and giving me 3 pence change.
Everything I told them about PC World's price was correct. They just didn't bother to check if there were any actually available.
