Large peer 2 peer loan? Or investor?

Evening all,

We are currently looking at a business venture that we need an injection of £300k. Due to current borrowing and the relative newness of our current business we cannot get a loan from a bank.

Do we have any other options? Out current profit would cover the repayments based on a long term load payment, this is excluding any profit from the new venture.

Is there anywhere to get a peer 2 peer loan for this amount? If not how would we go about finding a 'rich' investor? We would obviously be offering the investor security against their loan.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Phil
