Past 3 weeks I been unable to source this both in my town and York. Is anyone able to source it seems its taken off shelves, only stock sweet and sour?

I tend to stock up so it may have been longer than 3 weeks since it was on shelves

Looking for a alternative if possible

Is sainbsurys one the same. I like sauce on chips etc not the stuff mixed in a curry

Sainsbury's curry sauce in a jar is fine for me. I don't like them too hot and this is just right.

Thanks I wondered if the jar was curry you may add to curries. I do like it hot, I cant eat normal curry as I am vegetarian, I love it with some chips, curried rice, curry sauce

I like the Morrisons version, which is cheap but not very hot

I use the sainsbury's curry sauce, it used to be 9p but now is 23p - if you can stretch! ;-) I add plenty of spices to give it a kick, infact will be making curry tomorrow.

You don't need to add meat to it. I use quorn, vegetables and chickpeas when I make curries.

If you're after a sauce to pour on chips, you can get Bisto Chipshop Curry Sauce granules.

    Hiya,

From experience of working there, it could be that either it's been withdrawn from sale as a result of a product recall (check with store), or it could be a problem with the manufacturers (i.e. sourcing issues, delivery issues, etc).

Many curries are vegetable curries and are considered quite normal, lol!:)
