Hi,just wondering if I'm doing these facebook comps wrong:o I'm not very good with the computer for a start and it took me ages to set up an account with facebook lol,but I eventually managed:T

Anyway,I don't actual want or have time to do the whole facebook thing so I haven't added any friends as I wouldn't want to bombard them with my comping stuff.(I don't have any other facebook account, just the comping one)I do add and share the comp sites like they ask when entering comps (but as I said before I don't have any friends) do you think this would go against me somehow when entering facebook comps?:eek:

Am I wasting my time doing the facebook comps as cos I have no friends it would make my entry somehow void?

I cant say for certain as I have only been comping for 3 weeks and so everything still new to me but I couldnt imagine your entry becoming void because of lack of fb friends. I am an avid fb user and even have my own business page on there and from personal experience if I ran a competition for my page I wouldnt be clicking on everyone that entered to see how many friends they have.

Of course its always an advantage for the page running the promotion for their product to get seen by as many people as possible I would assume unless they specifically ask that the post is shared with XXX amount of friends then you should be ok and continue comping on facebook

You are not losing out by not having friends on there, if anything you are not annoying them with all these facebook comps which make you "like" and then "share"

By not having any you can post whatever you want to your page and only you will see it and you are still following the competition rules.

Make sure you do join the winners circle on there along with competition checkers as some companies on facebook have sneaky ways of letting you know, as in just post to their wall and if you dont see it within x amount of time, you lose the prize. On the 2 pages i have just stated, a lot of full time compers post any winning shots they see so you can check your name in there for them.

As you've only got one account, why don't you add some MSE'ers as friends? There is a facebook competitions thread on here somewhere (sorry, not got time to look for it at the moment, if I get a mo, I'll try later) where people who are happy to have comping friends leave their facebook names/URLs. That way you'll be able to properly share comps with people who won't be annoyed at all the comp stuff showing on your wall.

Add me too if you like. Be careful about adding friends too quickly as they banned me from adding for 2 days last week for doing this Also today I had a message telling me not to add people I don't know as I'd been reported :eek:

Hi i have 2 facebook accounts 1 for personal use and one just for comping. I have loads of "comping" friends now, its so handy because they send you comps and tag you so your automatically entered into some.
