Now I've decided to take action I am NO longer scared to open bills . Had my meter readings done a couple of days ago - pay gas and electric on monthly direct debit . Today I got the bill AND MY PAYMENTS ARE TO GO down WOOHOO by a massive £61!!! Was paying £89 a month will now be £28 The balance is to go to CC1 wot a brill start to the day!!!':j:j:j

Well just back from work which went ok Had to get more fuel to last me till end o month otherwise will be a no spend day . Put stew on in slow cooker so will be ready wen I get up. Had to put it in living room as danes go in kitchen wen sleeping and would yet again have no yea (But very happy dogs LOL) Have had to remove personal details re myself as discovered that folks at work visit and want to remain anony mouse IYKWIM ?

On a different note (Lahhh) how do you change the colour of the writing? - sorry I get silly wen I'm tired. Dogs finished their breckie so am off to bed. See you all wen I get up xX

Well got woken at 1430 by my big boy shouting . Got up made dumplings and put them on top of stew in slow cooker . Left it for 1 hour on high and just had delish stew . Didn't want to ruin nsd so just had with dumplings and was plenty! Got enough left for another 2 days.

Plus side of being financially challenged - weighed myself at work ( no scales at home) and am down 7 lbs!!! And that's not trying to lose lol Have 5 st to go to be weight I would love to be

Apart from buying fuel to travel to work ( budgeted for) its been a nsd

Now for some advice - have done number crunching and no matter what at the end of March am at risk of default on mortgage. I get paid the last thurs of the month which is the 31/3 BUT my payment for mortgage comes out the a/c on the 30th and no matter what I do the money just isn't going to be there. It happened to me ages ago before and bank said I defaulted and it badly affected credit rating. It's bad enough already and I just don't know what to do AHHGRRGG:eek::eek::eek:

why not ring the mortgage up and explain you wont be able to pay till 31st, im sure they will be fine if its a day late, i mean worst case cancel the direct debit and then phone up to make a card payment when your paid, try not to panic your doing so well x

hi Dane are you completely sure that's right? The 31st March is a Saturday and the Thursday before is the 29th so it would be on time. I think you're looking at 2011 calendar that was a Thursday *hugs* your stew sounds yummy by the way, glad the dumplings worked out alright, I'm baking bread in mine at the moment

Well aren't I the stupid one lol Yout right I was looking at the wrong calendar Panic over Another nsd Spoke to boss re extra work and she said apply so am going to do that if its quiet enough. Am tired this morning so once digs finished breckie am off to bed. Can't leave them with food as one is becoming food aggressive which is a right pain in the a@@e as if any of the others go near he goes for them ant then it's fight time - not nice esp the size they are. It's easier to keep them apart when they have food and it seems to work. Last time the were fighting I got bitten trying to stop it OWCH !! Someone at work told me to get rid and then things would be better and they don't know the half of it BUT can't do it ! They are my babies (can't have sprogs after a cancer scare) . One of the Danes a Harli is ex rescue and swore to her she would never have another home. When I got her she was 2 and only weighed 30kg ( half the weight she is now). The other is just MENTAL and just going thru terrible teanager stage stealing pushing buttons and can be a PAIN at times. Other times he's a wee angel
Sorry to go on but hey ho will get there in the end eh?

Morning Dane, you're not stupid at all I do things like that alllll the time...ask me where somewhere is on a map and I'll say it's on the opposite side of the world, only just learnt Egypt is in Africa a few weeks ago
Hope your Dane gets over the teenage years quick enough, it can't be good for you or the other dogs if he's playing up. I've been teaching my housemates dogs tricks, they're staffies, we now do ready, steady, go for fetching the toy and it's taken 3 weeks for them to perfect.

OOh well done re:work too, you're getting some good news this weekend aren't you

Well not sure how work front will go re earning extra - had applied before and was going to get interview and then they spoke to boss - they've now changed - don't know what was said but after that the door was shut in my face and was unable to find out why. Told present boss just a little re my position and she seems positive re trying again . Off to work now peeps Have a good night .......
