Never used the dehydrator before don't know if I'm doing something wrong but the onions are a failure ( sobs) some parts were dried but others on the same tray were turning fluorescent green and don't think they would be ok - binned them . May try oven next time instead . The dehydrator was on for 2 days . It's also a steamer . Tho I think it will be going to the back of a cupboard til I find out what I did wrong
The dehemidifier tho is AMAZING !!! Can't believe how much water it's removed and the house is warm despite no heating - it is sunny here and was a beautiful day where the show was .
Definately spring as saw my first lambs today
Now skint Brasov as bought tripe for the muttlies and only got pennies left but car has fuel there's food in house so should be ok

Sorry to hear about the onions, what model dehydrator do you have? I know I've seen people talk on here before about using them so might be worth searching to see if you can find some hints & tips.

Congratulations on the show dogs, that's really impressive :-) shame the others were naughty though xx

The dehydrator is by Beaumark . Didn't have instructions so guessed Think I'll put post in the thread re this and see if anyone replies. Must have done something wrong cos the ones that weren't dried were mushy as well as being weird green colour (Yeuk) . Might be cos some of onions in bag were off tho I thought the ones I used were ok.

Had washed the floor with mix of bleach and clothes washing powder ( you have to be careful doing this as can release chlorine so if doing it make sure there is ventilation- i had back door open )Think they were naughty cos the bleach smells like A.N Other dog invaded their space so they were marking territory IYKWIM. The floor was MANKY but next time will use the washing powder on its own as not had the problem when I've used that.

All dogs cream crackered had tripe mixed into their food ( they have their own freezer and stocks soon to be replenished) scoffed the lot and have slept ever since. Cats had some tripe too and one is SNORING her head off LOL

Lecki blanket on ( treated myself and best £ I've spent ) and taken painkillers as back was killing me . Emptied dehumidifier and turned it off - only on when I'm about and am now off to bed.
    Sleep well peeps

http://farmgal.tripod.com/Dehydrate.html I found you this link doing a quick goggle, if you look down it says to slice onions 1/4 inch think and dry for 6hrs. I thought your 2 days was a bit long :)

When my housemates dog pees I use washing up liquid on the kitchen floor, might sound bizarre but if it gets grease out then I'm sure it can get dog pee out too. I have heard that they pee if it smells of ammonia, so I haven't tried to use bleach.

Hope your back is better in the morning xx

Washed the floor again just using the clothes powder and so far it's stayed clean
    To do list now is
. Wash blanket ( will need to be on its own as heavy due to being double)
. Do another load of washing
. Wash sofa ( once I get dogs to vacate it which will be a challenge )
    . Turf out remaining onions
. Change dog beds and wash the dirty ones
. Change cat litter ( not keen on the paper substitute either)
    . Wipe down kitchen worktops
    . Sweep or Hoover lounge
    . Wash lounge walls
    . Wash lounge floor

    Off to make a start

Today has been a better day
    Tidy kitchen - done
Wash kitchen floor again WITHOUT bleach - done
Wash double blanket - done and now over banister to dry
Do a load of washing - dark load done and on maid to dry
    Change cat litter - done
Walk muttlies - done and after they were fed they went to sleep

One of the cheques for £445 arrived today and have put it in bank . Won't clear for 7 days tho so still up sh@t creak without paddle. Phoned the agency and will get paid on Wednesday for 3 night shifts I did for them . This will rectify the shortfall I had for direct debits so will have paddle then . Still waiting for cheque for over £200 and hope this will arrive tomorrow.
Feeling more positive about things as if cheque arrives and both clear will be below the overdraft limit

Did put post re how to put back the curtain rail that the teenager had pulled down and omg what a reaction I got - wont post there again lesson learned . Did get answer I needed from elsewhere so once I have funds will have a go at fixing it
Just want to say that I am so glad that I have folks like you guys. I do have difficult days and suffer from depression ( which I am on happy pills for) and often don't see people for days but you guys REALLY help

Oooh yeah there's bits on here that are like feeding the lions with sheep, and you're the sheep. No idea why people have to be like that mind, surely we're all just trying to get by in our own little ways?

Glad you're feeling more positive and that our little tidbits help you :) I'm loving your lists. Just goes to show how much can be achieved in one day xx

    Morning!

I agree with Kerri, there are boards on here that are not so nice. There's one I would have liked to post on, but so many of the people using it were so unnecessarily rude that I decided to give it a miss. There was one thread that I was reading that had my jaw dropping, I thought about reporting it. It had gone the following morning, so I wasn't the only one. As Kerri says, sheep to the lions. Don't worry anymore about it, just don't go there if you can help it.

Good news about the cheque arriving meaning things aren't so worrying for you.

I'm impressed with the lists too, tried one yesterday for myself and got a lot of things done. I notice you don't have a 'carry forward' on your lists, I will need one!:)
