Think it's time

Well after a POOR ME. Day yesterday am feeling a bit better after a good sleep and think its time to keep a diary to keep on track. My LB moment happened wen was turned down for loan and finally decided to face up to my debt . ATM I owe £73 to a vet which am Gona pay off at end of month and then the biggies - £2735 overdraft £793 on one cc and £1900 on another The interest on the cc s are the same don't know wot it is for the overdraft. I use 2 bank a/c regularly one gets pay into it and other pays all the bills and transfer lump across to cover it. I am owner of several pets ( don't tell me to get rid as NOT going to happen) . Have started this to keep me focused and keep me going wen I'm finding it tough. Hope others will find it helPs too as I get inspired wen I read others diaries

Hi Danetastic, it's great that you can finally start a diary it's the best thing I've found so far and when I don't post I seem to go off the rails, fantastic way of keeping on the straight and narrow I think :)
I've subscribed and look forward to following your journey on the path to freedom.
When you've had a moment, I'd recommend sitting down and working out a SoA (statement of affairs), this is incomings vs expenditures, be completely honest with yourself about where your spending lies and it should show you where to cut back. Then the next step is to work out some budgets, everything from dog food to choc bars. This is the scary part for me as I look at what's left and panic :( then I realise as I go through the month that I've actually set money aside for everything so the panic was an over-reaction :) Although I'm 4 months into my diary and still getting to grips with it.

Just remember, there's no such thing as failure, what we might see as a failure to ourselves is in fact another nugget of knowledge that we can use next time.

    Kerri x

You can claim tax back on uniform if you wash it at home. There's a thread on here somewhere about it. If you do a search for "uniform" under forum you should find it easy enough.

You don't need to put the SoA up if you don't feel comfortable, but it's worth doing one on some paper... remember it's only ink/pixels and who was ever afraid of them??? :D

And Mahoosive congrats on putting it all down in your signature that's a HUGE step

  • Well have to wait for an hour as Danes decided to finish their breki and if exercised too soon after eating risk of bloat ( gastric tortion) which can kill them and can result in HUGE vet bills - had enough vet bills recently ( tho have to say my vet is brill!!!)

Delivery arrived from apr@vd foods so having sugar rush - have taken 20 cola bottles out of HUGE bag sealed bag and put in shed to make them last longer LOL

Am going to use bog to store glasses in loft as stuff gets broken on daily basis by dogs - all good stuff put away ( joys of big dogs but wouldn't do without them they keep me sane ESP on down days - have to get up for them)

Sounds like am in bad place but am on happy pills just got to wait for them to work . Going out with mutts helps and looking forward to giving them a good run

Spend today £10 on fuel - needed to get some so can get to work tomorrow and fuel is in separate budget . Have choice of 3 garages wen in town so will get more at cheapest one after work. Used £ in purse then had maj anxiety about. O £ so withdrew £20 on debit card
