I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am starting a primary pgce in september and will be 2 when i start the course. however, i will be 25 two weeks later and heard that over 25s may be eligible for a bursary. Does anyone know if i will sill be eligible even though i wont quite be 25 when the course starts?

I couldn't find anything about a bursary for over 25s. However, if you have a 1st or 2:1 then the link below suggests you will be eligible for a bursary of £9000 or £5000 for training to be a primary teacher.

By the way, I hope that when you are teaching children to write you do better than in your post (although I congratulate you on not using an apostrophe in 25s).0 -
If it's anything like my nursing bursary, no. I missed out narrowly on that so I strongly suspect that unless you are 25 or over on the date of commencement of the course that you won't get it.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
