I have just been given quite a few of these but they dont have any seals. The ordinary seals don't fit.
In case you dont know what I am talking about they have a small glass lid and then there is a very big screw top that goes over the top.
Please can anyone help me as to where I can buy seals that may fit?

I've never seen ones with a glass lid. Do you mean that these seals don't fit? (My local DIY/ hardware store sells them, as well as Lakeland- do you have anywhere similar?)They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0

They look interesting. No, I meant the ones on the normal kilner jars. The thing is the glass is like a disc that fits just onto the top of the jar. Then you have these huge screw top things (they are not pretty) that go over the top so am assuming there must be a seal, unless the glass creates the vacuum and the screw tightens it?
I would post a picture on here but I believe you can only do it through photobucket or the like?0 -
Flea bay has loads, just search for kilner jar seals.

this is them. That first site seems to sell them so I have ordered some. This is going to sound seriously dim but I assume you would put the seal on first, then the glass bit and finally screw the red lid down?0 -
£20 for 4 of them?? I must have about 20 sat in the garage and some are massive!
Thanks for all your help.0
