Downlights in kitchen

Hi

I want to install downlights in the kitchen as I'm having a new ceiling aswell. The kitchen is approximately 16ft x 8ft 7". I have no idea which type I need, whether they need to be fire rated or not. All I know is that I would like the colour to be cool white and I have been told that the cheapest bulbs to run are the led bulbs.
I think I may need gu10 led bulbs. I have not bought anything yet so I would like some help from yourselves.

Please can someone point to where I could purchase about 10-12 lights in total I think, with the led bulbs and all fittings at the best price.

I think that is all I needed to ask.

I'd check out both Toolstation and Screwfix.

For LED lamps, keep an eye on Lidl and Aldi, which have both recently had offers on those.
