How to order from Very.co.uk without opening an account

Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere, perhaps someone can point me to the relevant thread if so.

If I want to place my first order with very.co.uk, how do I get past the credit account opening options? I'm not interested in a credit account or their "3 months interest free" option, I just want to pay for my order via credit card but couldn't find that option on the registration page.

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks! :D

I ordered some kids t shirts last week and didn't want to open a credit account, when I reached the part of checkout that was asking me to tick a box to accept credit t's and c's I simply didn't tick it (or perhaps ticked NO, can't remember now) anyway once I'd done that it took me through to another screen to pay by card :)

    Hi,

You will find the option to pay by card at Step 3 of the registration procedure! You may have to scroll down the page a little depending on the size of your browser window.

Please let us know if you have any problems accessing the site as we'd be happy to help.

    Many Thanks

  • I have been trying to put an order through without creating the account but no way... very.co.uk is probably running a scam. I consider myself really techie but cannot seem to find a way to order without signing for the crdit account.... really unhappy.
  • Dave from Very.co.uk - Where on step 3? Seems you have a different page than me. I don't have a choice to pay by card. I have to accept the agreement because if I don't you don't recognise my password. Reply please!
  • I have just spoken to Very who say you don't need to accept a credit account but you cannot order from them without creating an actual account so they can send you offers and contact you in advertising.
Sadly not what I wanted so they will miss out on my custom.

I'm sure you'll get the same products elsewhere for a similar price

Littlewoods - it's the same company but probably the same problem.

I opened a credit account, paid for it all in one go (there's loads of £25 off first order vouchers around), then rang and asked them to close the account once the goods were here.

I would never shop there again.
