I cannot appeal

I have challenged my tax band. :rolleyes: I have receiced a letter from VOA saying they will look into it.

"If I am stisfied no alteration is appropriate I will let you know by letter but would advise you that if this is the outcome you will not be able to appeal against my decision"

Urgent help wanted On the main site it says if your refused you can appeal.

Please Please help. Does anyone know anything?

Still don't know how this site works, If you read the above has anyone been refused and how did you appeal, especially if the VOA said that you couldn't?

Marie, try posting this on the main thread (cutting council tax and grab any discounts), you may get more response.
You may find my post 659 on page 33 helpful.
It explains your situation, which is basically that you are unable to make a formal appeal because you don't fall into their list of circumstances where you can - however, the VOA will look into it informally for you, but you have no right of appeal against their decision.
Most people who have lived into their properties more than 6 months fall into this category.
