Has anyone tested for the Beauty Bible

Has anyone tested for the Beauty Bible Testers? Is it a scam? Because they ask for £ 30.00 towards the delivery charges and admin, little bit suspicious when they ask for money!

Any comments appreciated !

  • I have done it twice now. The first time I had some really expensive products and the whole lot was worth over £200. The second time was more like £150. Really worth The £30 in my opinion, it's like buying yourself a great surprise gift. Some products alone would normally cost £40/50. So it's like treating yourself to something you would never nornally afford to buy.

I've done it for years now. I love it - you always get a really expensive product worth well over the £30 initial fee you pay. It is totally above board.

I've done it a few times, I think I've been lucky and always had lovely products that far far exceed the £30.00 but its only good if you are open minded about trying new stuff and have skin that can cope with that and maybe using colours of make up your wouldn't normally, I've got quite fussy in my old age so now don't do it anymore but I enjoyed it while I did, the forms at the end are very long and I had a few techie problems with getting them back but nothing major, a few girls on the beauty board have done it too, might be worth reposting over there:)
Thank you for this site Martin

It's not a scam, but I wouldn't do it again. The expensive products where not suitable for me at all. I got a MAC eyebrow pencil for blondes when I said I was brunette and an expensive conditioner for dry curly hair when I said I had very fine hair. The other stuff was nice, but didn't add up to £30. Bear in mind that the questionnaire is very detailed so you are not getting something for nothing. I think it took me several hours to get the questionnaire ready for emailing!

I've done it and most of the products were things I would never have bought, and after using them, wouldn't in future.

Just because a cream costs £80 doesn't mean it's any better than another. I finished products that I would have otherwise thrown away just so I could complete the questionaire.

Mine included Burts Bees and Pantene so not every product is your big chance to try an exclusive item.

So it's a little bit like buying a raffle ticket. I think it's a bit naughty to charge so much. I'm sure they don't buy the products and after all they get a book and various articles out of it.
