Help with prize not turning up

Hi guys

I won first prize for a box of cheese (may even have been a hamper of cheese but can't remember prize details and the webpage has since been pulled) in this competition.

I was notified on the 19th December, 2011 and I replied to the email with my postal address almost immediately with a further response saying the prize would be sent out and could be with me just before Xmas. Sadly, it didn't turn up before, or after, Xmas. I thought that because of the Xmas/NY post it may just have been delayed but since it's cheese, it's not going to be pleasant, especially not now :rotfl: Is there any way I can prove I've not received the cheese and possibly ask them to send a consolation prize out? I've never not received a win so I'm really unsure about what to do, especially since it's fresh produce which surely complicates matters.

Many thanks for any and all assistance.

If they didn't send by courier and have a tracking number the least they could do is send another prize to you, have you contacted them? Good Luck hope it gets sorted!

Looking on Facebook, one of the runners-up hadn't received her prize up to 1st January.

    Have you contacted them yet:)

Thanks for the replies. I received an email from them a couple of days which I've just this minute read:

"We were very disappointed to hear that your Cheese Box did not arrive with you.

We apologise for this and I have organised for a replacement to be sent out tomorrow for delivery Thursday.

Please again accept our apologies and if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind regards."

Haven't received anything as yet but will let you know if, and when, it arrives. Thanks again for the assistance guys. ;)
