HI,
Im looking at starting Jme @ home,
They have an offer on this month £25 starting fee and £50 a month later, thats for the kit and insurance. normally £125.
So is there anyone who thinks its a good little money earner or is it a waist of time???
any advice please

I considered this, but wasn't convinced. The items are expensive, and you would need to have a good number of parties every month to make it worth while. I didn't want to pay that much up front, and by the time I factored in fuel, all the evenings for the parties, and time spent advertising and networking to arrange parties I didn't think it would pay me well enough.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

Well I went to a jme at home party and couldn't believe the prices. £30 for a baking tray no better than what you get from poundland. I don't think you will sell much in this economic climate. Also have you ever noticed that Jamie Oliver himself doesn't actually cook with anything from his own range? All his cooking utensils look like they came from a charity shop. Even he can't afford to use them.0

I used to be a Manager for them and they are the best party plan company I ever worked for and I've done quite a few! I have no vested interest in them now as I left a year ago.
It's the only party plan I ever made any money at and the products are superb and you DO get what you pay for, I have virtually all JME products in my kitchen now and wouldn't be without them. At a party you show a DVD of Jamie cooking a recipe and he uses all JME products. He does also uses them in his TV shows but he uses a variety of products as I am sure there would be problems with him using his TV shows to promote JME otherwise.
My only negative would be that now it is much more well known it is harder to get parties unless you live in an area or have friends that like to host parties or haven't been to JME parties before.
If you can get your first 4 parties organised (which is part of the deal) you've nothing to lose as you'll earn enough to cover your outlay and then some and have over £400 of product to keep - go for it!Finally Debt Free - April 2009
