Not sure if this is the right place to post but thought I'd give it a try... I am looking for a dressmaker in London who would be able to make 3 bridesmaids dresses. If I google it I just get a load of over-priced boutique places. What I'm looking for is more someone who does it in their home or as a small business. Can anyone help?

It's not quite London, but half an hour away on the train in Milton Keynes - estilomoda.co.uk. It's run by a lovely lady called Lisa who works from home and in a studio with another dressmaker. They are making my wedding dress at a very reasonable price, and have been absolutely brilliant so far. They also do bridesmaid dresses (see their website for examples).

not handmade but a lady i knows swears by Fonthill road for wedding bargains in london
