Hi all,
Just a quick query as really not sure if correct or not.
DH went bankrupt in July 2010 and was discharged July 2011, we had no IPA as no disposable income left.
However (and this is the bit that has flumoxed us) he received in the post today a letter from HMRC saying that histax code for 2012/13 will be BR. Is this correct??
Thanks for any help:T

BR is for basic rate not bankruptcy, you usually get one if recently changed jobs or started a second jobHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
