    Good luck

I plan to debt free at 30.

How did you get Capital One to freeze their interest? I have written to them before only to receive a NO CHANCE.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
  • Just gave them a call on 0800 9524 914, explained my situation, told them I could only afford £25.00 pm & they agreed to freeze the interest.

Having scrutinised my debts more & have got to the down to very bottom of things, I'm now in a position to start sorting them out.
Been to the bank & CAB.

The bank suggested releasing some equity from the mortgage to repay, however the Abbey will not do this for at least another 6 months or so.

The CAB suggested "payplan", I have a call booked for an interview tomorrow, however many people seem to be using "CCCS" are there any benefits to either.

    Any help appreciated.

Try Either of them they both seem to be very ood an they wll get your debt down to a managable and realistic amount each month.

If you have money to overpay give it to them and they distrobute it fairly and equally.

good luck and a belated Happy Birthday

Have been on the phone to Clearstart about an IVA or DMP, they couldnt help much as I dont have any spare wonga.

They suggested I talk to there mortgage lender to add the debt to my mortgage.

But I'm reluctant to do this as its just adding to my debts.
