It's the perfect setting for a dream wedding...
Situated near to the historic market town of Buckingham in the heart of the English countryside is the beautiful Stowe House. First constructed in the 1680s and subsequently modified and perfected, Stowe is a model of the neoclassical architectural ideal. It has three beautiful rooms for civil ceremonies – the Music Room, the Marble Saloon, and the Blue Room. The magnificent State Rooms of Stowe House provide an unbeatable venue for any reception. Receive your guests on the South Portico overlooking the sweeping lawns before moving through into the Marble Saloon to enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing under the architectural splendour of the recently restored 300-figure classical frieze.
Our competition winner will receive a voucher that entitles them to get married at Stowe House on a chosen Monday to Thursday in 2008. The voucher covers room hire worth £6,000 and is valid until 31 December 2008. All other goods and services will be provided in conjunction with the Commercial Office at Stowe at the prevailing commercial rates.
