Gas boiler misery - help needed for Dunmurry direction

Just came home from a weekend away for the wife's birthday to find water dripping out of our boiler! We left some heating on over the weekend thinking it might get frosty so I don't think it's a burst pipe, more like a leaking washer or gauge somewhere in the workings of the boiler. Had a chat to a plumber (who doesn't do call-outs unfortunately) who told me I was better to just switch it off, turn the water intake into the boiler off (so the leak stops) and get someone to look at it tomorrow. His rationale was that the boiler is ten years old and may need replacing so there's no point chucking an arm and a leg away on it tonight with call out fees if the leak is not too bad (seems to have stopped now thankfully).

Does anyone know a Gas Safe registered plumber who is quick and reliable, preferrably in the Dunmurry area? There is a list on the Gas Safe webpage but I don't know any of them from Adam. Also, if it does require a replacement combi boiler does anyone have a rough idea how much this will cost? Again, I know that Phoenix will give a grant sometimes towards new boilers but I am no longer a Phoenix customer (having switched to Firmus) and am not sure whether their service engineers will look at the boiler anymore.

Nightmare.
Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Just to let you know that Phoenix will not give anyone any help towards a replacement boiler if they already have gas. It is onlyfor people who have an oil boiler and want to convert to gas.

(Sorry I can't offer any advice on the rest of your question).
