First time mortgage help, Self employed??

Hi I am looking for a Mortgage but I don’t know if I am classed as self employed or not. In terms of the Inland Revenue I am self employed ( I work as a contractor and pay my own tax) but I have a permanent contract with a company where they have to give me a months notice as with any other job. I do not get the benefits such as paid holidays etc though.
In the eyes of a lender my job and monthly income is as secure as anyone else’s so could I get a regular mortgage or would I need to go self cert.
Moving on to the next part of the question, I earn £32,000 (minimum but up to £35,500), what sort of mortgage could I hope to get without a deposit? I know I would get a far better rate if I was to get a deposit together. I don’t mind an interest only mortgage that I could change a couple of years down the line.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
