remortgage advice

Hi Guys,
I`m new to remortgaging and would like a bit of advice on the best way forward.
I owe £19,500 and would like to borrow another £10,000 over 15years.
Total remortgage needed £29,500
I got a couple of qutoes and the monthly repayments were approx £245 - £255 per month over 2yrs, fixed rate.

Any ideas or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
To be honest it`s a minefield and my head is ready to explode.

Have you gone back to your current lender to see whta they will offer?

It may be am option to stay with them as exit/set up fees may make it more cost effective to stay put

I am with the Woolwich openplan and the current deal was over at the end of Jan. I did ring them and they offered me a rate of 6.8% which I thought was a little steep.
