homejobsuk.com - A Scam?

Hi All,

I was reading the The Sun Newspaper while at work yesterday and come across the above website. Is this a scam do you think?

Now I know the saying if its too good to be true then it more often than not is, but I tried searching for some reviews on Google about this company but I could not find anything. Is this a scam?

Does anyone know if this is a scam or not? Surely they would not be able to advertise in a National Newspaper if this was the case?

If anyone has any experience with this type of thing then any thoughts would be extremely welcome, as I am trying to boost my income, with something that I can do from home, and again anyone with any suggestions I would be delighted to hear from you.

Thanks

Gooner10

A quick look on the website shows that they are asking £2.00 for admin fees . Thats enough to put me off ;)
  • If a site doesn't tell you what you need to do to earn an income up front then beware. Parting with money without knowing what the job entails is a bad sign.

Have you thought about direct selling? Check out the DSA - (direct selling association) website for a list of reputable companies that offer varying commission schemes. I am a direct seller (children's books) and have made a full time income out of it. My business is still growing despite the current climate.

Many of these companies will charge you a start up fee normally in return for kit worth much more, to help you run your business. Often these kit/registration costs can be refunded through incentive programs for new starters, meaning you can set up a relatively risk free business for little or no investment. The DsA code of conduct states you have a 14 cooling off period though and my advice would be to find a mentor to join under that has a lot of experience and can tell you how much commitment you need to make in order to secure the extra income you are looking for.

    Kind Regards

Spot the difference http://homejobsleicester.com/ and www.homejobsuk.com and www.homejobsbristol.com

I expect you could find more.:D

Companies pay big money to join the DSA. If a direct selling company is not a member it does make it any less reputable then one that is.

Thanks everyone, I thought it was a scam but just wanted a second opinion :)

I guess its back to the drawing board for a 2nd income!. Ideally something online would be good rather than face to face selling.

    Any ideas? :)
