I want to know how to eat velvet crab. I've seen them on sale in Lidl but I've no idea how to eat therm. Their claws and legs look way too small to use in the normal way for Edible crab, the body is small too. I'm told they are popular in Spain and Portugal (We've a big Portuguese community in Norfolk) and now British fishermen are catching them. Apparently they eat other crabs. Our Norfolk crabs are going through a tough patch so eating these velvet crabs would be good for the Norfolk crabs and I'm keen to give it a go. I've tried googling for it but not found out anything practical about how to process and eat the crab. Can anyone point me towards a good web site where I can find this out or give genuine practical advice on how these are used?

Velvet crabs are just the same as large crabs. They have the same areas you eat and the same bits you don't eat (dead mens fingers).
Inside the shell you may find some brown meat, but most of the meat in a velvet crab is white and you find it in the body and legs.
For more indepth just look at a guide to eating a brown crab."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0
