Not necessarily a night cream but any cream, or do you go to bed without a cream on your face at all?

I used to religiously, I need to get back into the habit- the best night cream I have ever used was the £1.99 one from Aldi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'' Ok Marge, if anyone asks, you require 24-hour nursing care; Lisa's a clergyman; Maggie is seven people and Bart was wounded in Vietnam ''0

Always used to but sadly at the moment i am having rather hot and sweaty episodes during the night!
I find that if I put a cram on at bedtime then when I get hot it just adds to the moisture on my face and makes me feel even worse.
I'm sure my skin will suffer for it though especially as my hormones are obviously depleted.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
My skin gets really dry especially in the winter so I wouldn't dream of going to bed without moisturising my face, Ive done so since I was a teenager and Im now in my mid 40s.0

Yup, I am in the routine of slapping on cream every night. Have been since I was 40. My poor long-suffering winter hands get slathered too.0

I've never used a moisturiser at all and I honestly look about 15.
Every brand that I've tried has left my pores open and skin oily, even the ones specially designed for oily skin.
I do believe that once you start using such products you start to need them after a while which is why I'll try to resist using any kind of moisturiser on my skin for as long as possible. (I don't sunbathe at all.)4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -

I agree with you to a degree!
I don't as a rule use body lotion/cream in the winter, except on hands, feet and elbows. TBH I don't see that I need it generally. I do use it on arms, decolletage, if I'm baring skin on a night out for example, but otherwise, I really don't need it ( and have normal skin, not particularly oily/ Mediterranean type).
However, where I differ is that the face ( and hands) are exposed far more to the elements, to the dry heat of central heating, to cold and wind and also the sun, even in winter etc and therefore I use night cream to give a boost and also for anti-ageing firming as well.
I think I look ok for my age, however can't qualify my opinion in the way you can as unfortunately I don't think anyone would mistake me for 15 ;-))0 -
I only use moisturiser in the morning, although I do wash my face twice a day with aqueous cream which has moisturising properties anyway.0

I always use a moisturiser when it's quite cold as my skin dries out otherwise but only use a toner when it's warm

The CoQ10 one? I use the Lidl version, it's said to be the same cream. But I only use it when I can be bothered, half the time I forget to put my moisturiser on before I go to bed.
I also use it as a day cream on very cold days like this, it seems to protect my face from the worst of it.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0
