What do you use to send free SMS text messages from your pc, please?

I want to send SMS text messages from my pc to a mobile phone. However, I am concerned about safety issues when regestering my details with web sites, and the reliability of messages arriving. Thus, I would be grateful to hear from any others who use this service, to know what site you use and how good that site is.
I do not use my mobile very much, so for me typing a text on the pc is so much easier than on the mobile. My daughter is going for a weeks holiday later in the year and this will be the cheapest way to keep in contact. I just wanted to get in practice now

I and the rest of my family have been using 02 for years,you get Thirty free text's a month with the option to purchase more if you need them.

I use cardboardfish free sms, and have had no problems (have been using them for over a year)

YOu give no details of yourself, only the mobile number you want to text. And all the messages have arrived (you get a dellivery confirmation)


I cant remember the exact addy, but just google "cardboardfish sms"

I use o2 for my free text.
They offer 10 doesnt seem a lot but I personally have multiple accounts, as domy friends and family.

Thank you for your replies. I like https://www.cbfsms.com , it seems good. I especially like the way I can get the reply on the same site, so I do not have to leave my mobile on and check for a reply there.
