From gap website. Uk 10 is definitely a US 6.
Have never heard any different from that either
Well, that as may be, now I'm truly puzzled as I buy lots of US garments and always has a size 10 been a US size 8. Maybe they have changed sizing recently you think?0 -
Not sure about the sizing on the websites you use, but every time I have been to US over last 10+ years i have bought size 6 for my UK size 10. Maybe someone else has the answer?0

It's been +2 sizes for many a year now. I do think they differ a bit though as UK sizes are slightly larger than other countries to flatter us as we are getting larger. I don't think they do this in the US...although maybe they should!
So if you are a UK 18 then you will prob find a US 16 most comfortable but will prob fit some 14's.

I am size 8 and buy size 4 in GAP, even go down to a 2 in some trousers. I think their trousers and skirts are a more generous fit than their jeans though.0

Yup, same here, I'm a UK size 8-10 but in Gap wear a 4 or 2 as their sizes run larger than standard US sizes. I love Gap clothes but really wish they would sort out their sizing.Quid quid latine dictum sit, altum videtur0
