Cake decorators

Does anyone know of cake decorators (pro or hobbyist) in the Dorset area, who'd be willing to decorate a ready-made cake and deliver it to my wedding venue?

These people appear to have a shop in Christchurch from I can find http://www.cakebits.com/cgi-bin/foundation/index.html

Be aware though that they may refuse to ice a cake made by someone else (I certainly would unless it was a close family or friend) as they have no way of knowing if the cake is safe to eat and they are not going to want a food poisoning allegation made against them.

Here is a link to a cakemaker's website where she lists local wedding exhibitions. They might give you some leads.
Also check out local directories for shops that supply sugar paste. That is the basis for the flowers and decorations on wedding cakes and they nearly always have a list of local pro and hobby decorators.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • Hi

I wouldn't be able to decorate the cake for you, as I only decorate my own, but if you are looking for a sugar flower decoration I might be able to help with that.
