How long have you worked for your current employer?
Do you have a contract of employment?0 -

Hi Dave
Yes you can still make a claim for JSA - whether you get anything will depend on your individual circs. There will probably be some extra forms to fill in and the benefit delivery centre may have to contact your employer. When you're going through hell, keep going...0 -
Without a shadow of a doubt this will be another case of an agency treating an individual like 'cannon fodder'.
Simply has to be the case as if it was a contracted employment, the employer still has to pay the employee unless the employee has agreed to some ridiculous terms.0 -
apply for jsa and dont tell them you are hoping to be reemployed in three weeks , tell your employer you are signing on so they can confirm to the job centre end date, its the least they can do if they are not employing you.
Tell the job centre you are actively seeking work.if only life was a box of chocs0
