What sort of temp job could I get just for one month?

I am in desperate need of cash as I am moving out 28th of march into a house share and there are a few bits and bobs I need to buy + pay first months rent etc.

Would a bar or something take on temp for 1 month?

or any job I can start quite quickly would be good. Then resign 1 month l78r

just go to an agency. They wouldn't even have to know that you were only looking for a months work.
Just quit after the month is up. Could be data entry, warehouse work, etc....

Why only a month though, out of interest? How will you pay for rent etc in teh future?

Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.

I already have a full-time job so it would just be like a side job evenings or morning (depending which shift I am working).

The reason I am moving is because my current employer is moving :).

Another job on the side from your current job is different to working for a month, you'd get Taxed and NI on everything you earn on your second job (assuming your first job takes you over the limits for this year) AND you'll possibly be on emergency tax code as you don't have a P45 to work from...

Check your terms and conditions of your current job for a conflict of interest clause. It might be that you aren't permitted to have another 'job on the side'... (I'm not :()

It's worth going round the agencies to see if they can help get something that you could fit around your current job...

    good luck gettitng something soon

Wow thats a good attitude. Someone gives you a job and you will call in sick when you feel like it. Wont have it for a month if you do that!
