buying in products in France

I need 46000Euroes to purchase a product in france the supplier will only except credit card, debit card or cash any suggestions would be welcome on the best way forward to get the best exchage rate from £ :confused:

    For that amount you would definately be able to negotiate a rate better than the standard tourist rates... so don't be fobbed off by your bank!

    Alternatively, check to see what rate they use on transactions made via debit card... it may work out cheaper?

    Also, see if you can get a cashback credit card.... you may not be able to pay the whole amount, but you may save on commission charges AND get cashback.
