  • Got mine delivered today. Mine fit O.K. Got them zipped up over my jeans, which I can never do. I saw the leather label, but didn't think they did smell like leather! Fab boots for £15. Would never have paid the £65

Definitely not wide fitting. I have a 'normal' foot/ankle, and one very slightly bigger as the long-standing result of an infected insect bite. I have no hope of getting that foot into them, and they're not generous on the other foot. The calf is reasonably generous, as the zip did up.

ETA: and definitely not leather. No leather smell, and described as 'faux leather' on both the dispatch note and the label attached to the boots.

The boots are genuine leather, mine look, feel and smell like leather and have a genuine leather label attached. The 'faux' bit of the description is in relation to the fur around the top of the boot, as it actualy says FAUXF[ur].
That said as I said earlier they are def not wide fitting, poss even a narrow fitting.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o
  • Seems I'm not the only one with an issue over these boots being 'wide fitting' ! But they are long enough for me so I'm hoping the leather will stretch once I've worn them for a bit, I'm otherwise pleased with them, so thanks OP :)

Glad it isn't just me with the not so wide fitting!

Tried the left size and 8 and felt a little long but width ok-ish. Tried 7's and couldn't get anywhere near. Tried the right 8 and it is smaller than the left to the point it was uncomfortable on the width!

When I opened the bag it did look as though it had been previously opened and the left one had a stone stuck in bottom, so I am wondering if someone has had the left one of to try to "wear" it in and stretched it.

Don't know what to do, they may end up fitting but I won't know till I have had them on a while by which time it will be too late to return argh!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • I've just trudged about 2 miles through all the slush/snow and they were incredibly comfy so am very happy with them. The narrowness makes them support my foot better than most. Being leather (thanks sarnd for pointing out the 'f' after faux!), they should give a bit and allow my jeans to be tucked in better so I don't look like I'm wearing pantomime outift!

    Mine are fab! Thanks OP!!

true to size ( 8 ) Fit well and over thicker socks. I am no skinny minny but they fit my legs fine too.

They are leather and fake fur ( thanks above for pointing it out :) )

All in all very happy :j:j

I agree, no idea why these boots were described as wide-fit unless they were referring to the tops, instead of the actual shoe part. I can get them on but they are very tight. For the price though I may as well keep them and hope they stretch a bit. I don't have anything else like them, so I'm happy!

Mine don't have a 'genuine leather' label anywhere, which is odd. And absolutely no leather smell.
  • My size 5's arrived today but are too narrow too. Mine are definitely leather and I realised the fauxf description related to the faux fur around the top.

Will return them to store at the weekend.
