kermit the frog backpack

I understand where you are coming from and I am taken back that people could go so low as taking labels from the bottles in the shop. We personally are a family of 3. 2 adults and 1 x 10 year old. My husband has 2 cups of tea in the morning before going to work and DD has bowl of cereal...that is mainly all the milk we use. I have been forcing myself over the last few weeks to eat cereals (I normally have a sandwich in morning) and made some Belgian breadpuddings (different to the British ones). DD and myself are having ommellettes for lunch just so we can use some more milk...it's nearly an obsession to use as much milk as we can. We have 2 x 2l Cravendale in fridge (full ones) with an expiry date of the 26th of April and we are half way through one with expiry date of the 10th of April... it's been a real struggle and we have had to pour milk away which seems such a waste and really when you think of it...how daft, all for a kermit backpack!!
We have 4 more codes to go and I probably will end up buying more milk this weekend as we're so close now and DD has her heart set on this backpack...and like a lot of parents, I don't want her to be disappointed....the soft touch parent I am.
What about making a lasagne?
I usually use a lot of milk in the sauce.
I see a new thread in the making ....
'Ways to use up your Cravendale milk' !!!0 -
Isn't that where the phrase 'tough !!!!!!' comes into play then? :rotfl: No Kermit for you. :rotfl:
I appreciate your honesty but I kinda feel that why should I send you codes I got because I've spent my money on getting milk when you have no intention of spending your own money?
I get the student thing, but I'm up to my eyes in debt so it's quits as far as I'm concerned.
I'm happy to help folk but some of you are just taking the p!ss. :rotfl:
Only imo though, of course.
I daresay there's less cynical people than I on the boards though so you may well find someone else is happy to send you codes. I wish you luck anyway. (That is genuinely meant btw.)

Never eaten lasagna! I can't stand cheese or the smell of it, even the thought makes me shiver. Can you make it without cheese? And yes, good idea about the new thread! :T0 -

I am going to tesco later so if I get anymore codes will let you know !
I think if people aren't prepared to buy the milk then they shouldn't expect people to just start handing codes over sob story or not.
I have a 2 year old that doesn't drink cows milk, he has the toddler milk so it does take us a while to get through it. All I have been doing is freezing it and making food that requires milk and lots of it ! Cauliflower cheese, rice pudding there are loads of things to use milk up. I've even been eating two bowls of cereal some days.0 -
Im sorry but jus being honest...i mean the amount of stories on here ive got kids who want etc etc....id rather not lie about it n fair play to you if you wouldnt send me codes knowing this....i understand the debt thing but again im here cause its worth a try if people are giving codes out...i did say that as a last resort i would buy off ebay or something as its cheaper than buying all the milk but cant blame me for trying on here first........:) cheers anyway no sob story but it just isnt possible to make my way through so much milk lol...
Just wanted to say good on you for taking my comments in good humour. :beer:Herman - MP for all!0 -

Very clever marketing tho from Cravendale, wonder how much more milk they have sold on the back of this promotion.0
