Should he contact them with updated details?

Hello all.
My boyfriend had an interview on the 31st.
They asked him when he would be able to start if he did get the job so he tried to be honest and as our house still had to sell it would possibly be around the 1st of march. (They know already that we are selling the house, and relocating if he gets the job)
Anyway, a lady came to see our house, it is a private sale, and she put in an offer there and then, she already has a solicitor etc and told us we could get things started right away (I have found a solicitor already).
Should my partner contact the company and update them that the house is now off the market so he may be able to start sooner than he said he could or should he just leave it until they get back to him? (if they do of course)
Also I was on the company website this morning and noticed that they have put the job he applied for back up online with a new end date, does this usually mean they havent found the right person for the job, should we assume he hasnt got it or is it a usual thing to do?
Thanks.

I'd wait until they reply about the job, they might have put the job back online as they didn't get enough responses maybe xxx'' Ok Marge, if anyone asks, you require 24-hour nursing care; Lisa's a clergyman; Maggie is seven people and Bart was wounded in Vietnam ''0

I'd contact them if you think it might be sooner -but a month isn't long to complete on a house sale (having said that I bought my house as a cash sale in less from viewing to completion although most of the searches were already done as I'd got gazzumped on a nearby house -so possible if everything goes right and there's no mortgage involved)
Maybe they thought as he wasn't in the area already he wasn't a good candidate and now your move is real it might make a difference-Nothing to lose either way.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Even in your situation a month is a tight turnaround for a sale anyway. I'd not update them until you've got a completion date and have exchanged on the sale.0
