    I nuke it from frozen if I've forgotten to get it out, turbo nuke not defrost then cook. Nuke until it's not frozen (lots of poking) then whatever it said I should cook it for in the first place - but with spot checks to make sure it hasn't gone critical.

    If it is something you can stir, then it should be safe enough to nuke from frozen as long as you make sure it is hot throughout.

    I must admit I do bung lasagne into the oven from frozen sometimes, but find the edges tend to be overcooked by the time it is hot in the middle. Really better to let such things defrost if you can remember to!
