in Loans
My mum is self employed, she has never put an even amount of money in her bank account some months she didn't put any money in, she just has a safe at home.
Now she would like to take out a loan to expand and kick off this year, but every company she has applied to has said no due to the fact that she has no bank proof of her steady income! If she doesn't get a loan she cant open again this year, and she is running out of money.
I understand it sounds odd, but she does have a steady income, and always has, this is the first in all of her 23 years of working for herself that she has ever needed money.
I'm sorry to go on but do any of you know of any place we might be able to loan the money from?
Thanks

One assumes she will evidence from HMRC in the shape of SA302's (tax calculations) verifying her income?0

Does she have copies of her annual accounts and tax returns to prove her income? If so some lenders will consider those - perhaps try going in branch at her own bank.
How much is she hoping to borrow?
How much profit did she make last year (after business expenses before tax).
If she wants the loan for business purposes then the usual way is to produce a business plan and robust financial projections and see a business manager at the bank.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
