Claire's Surprise bags - 10 items for £5

Was in Claire's this evening and they had loads of them out. I bought one and wasn't all that impressed with what I got but I suppose it's down to luck. There were a few decent things in it though. I was hoping most of the stuff could be handed out to my dds as rewards, there was a couple of things that they could use, and earrings and sunglasses that I could use.

I agree. I've bought one before, and it was fairly crummy stuff. It contained one decentish thing, and things like scuffed mini gift boxes, so rendering them effectively useless.
  • I've been caught out on this one as well full of rubbish that I won't even give a 10 year old.

thats almost double the price of what they used to be sold at (£3). My DD is 10 and usually buys one of these when they're about, but not at £5 she won't be.

thanks for posting but IMO it's how they get rid of their tat,
their sale has been rubbish this year
last year alot of bags, shoes, purses hats, gloves and scarves were all in the 10 for £10 sale, my sister and I spent at least a couple of hundred quid between us, by the end of the transaction the SA was just giving us boots and bags that weren't included in the offer for £1 each as well:rotfl::T we got some amazing finds

very disappointing this year, no bags or shoes in the 5 for £5 offer
and definitely will not be risking a bag where i can't see what i'm buying bargain or no bargain
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Yes, when I got home I remembered they used to sell them for £3 instead of £5. I got a couple of bags for £3 last time, better value, they were marked as "fancy dress" and had better stuff in them for the dds.
