In all honesty there's no point 'guessing'.....have there been any recent sales around you that you can look up on zoopla?
Just had a look on Zoopla and then did a calculation on the borrower calculator on my building societies website .. I think I can wave this idea goodbye for now!! Thank you for all your help though

If not, it seems a bit daft putting yourself in the doo-doo for the sake of paying him off!
