Simply email your photograph to [EMAIL="comps@randomhouse.co.uk"]comps@randomhouse.co.uk[/EMAIL] along with a caption to explain it, your name and contact details by 1st March 2012. Douglas Kennedy will pick a shortlist of ten photographs he thinks best represent their description.
Win: The ten shortlisted photographers will win a copy of The Moment and one very lucky Mumsnetter will also be selected to win a top-of-the-range Panasonic Lumix digital camera worth £200.
Please note: To enter this competition you must be willing to submit your real name and details to a third party who might choose to use it in publicity materials.
Additional terms and conditions
1. To enter, entrants must email a photograph and caption to comps@randomhouse.co.uk.
2. The closing date is 1ST March 2012. Entries that are illegible or received after the closing date will not be considered. The promoter is not responsible for entries delayed, lost, damaged or corrupted, whether due to system error or otherwise. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.
3. The prize is a Panasonic Lumix FS35 Black (16.1MP, 8x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD digital camera and a copy of The Moment by Douglas Kennedy in paperback (prize 1) that will be awarded to the entrant who submits the photograph thought best to represent the nature of the competition by the judge Douglas Kennedy. Nine runners up, also chosen by Douglas Kennedy, will receive a copy of The Moment by Douglas Kennedy in paperback (prize 2) (prize 1 and prize 2 each a prize and together the prizes). No cash alternative will be offered.
4. The competition will be judged within 7 days of the closing date (i.e. by 8th March 2012) and the winner and runners up will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date (i.e. by 15th March 2012).
5. The winner agrees to the promoter's use of their name, town of residence and photograph in relation to the promoter's publicity material.
6. Your personal details will only be retained and used by the promoter in order to send you your prize and will be deleted thereafter unless you have ticked the appropriate box. Your personal details will not be passed on to any third parties.
