Not necessarily, a lot of people do their own accounts and generally you only need to do them at year end.
If it's not a particularly complicated business and if you can do arithmetic, if you can use Excel spreadsheet or even just word processing, and if you can read up the tax website and sites like this then you may not need an accountant.0 -
