cornishlady alerted me to this yesterday. I called husband at work this morning and asked him to pick up a copy of The Sun. He virtually had apoplexy at first but then went off to rummage in his team's mess room so he doesn't have to buy one <rolls eyes>0

Just went to Morrisions. I only went to get a couple of things so didnt buy the Sun. When i had finished putting everything in bags it came to £43! As it was dead in the shop i said hold on. I ran to the paper shop in store and bought a paper. went back and got my £6 off. Only came to over £40 as there was loads of reduced Lamb and beef joints that were all half price.
Then went to Aldi as last weeks £5 of £30 spend ran out today. Just stocked up on wine. Worked out less than £3 a bottle for £3.50 -£4 a bottle wine.0 -
does anybody know if asda or any other supermarket will accept these £6 0f £40 spend coupons, morrisions is miles out of the way for me :-(0

OH ended up having to buy The Sun at station as newsagents near work had sold out. Done my shopping list on the Morrisons website and IF I get the offers I want I'll save £17 on normal prices plus the £6
When would be the best time to go before Sunday or will Morrisons be heaving all through ?

Husband went in for the Kumala wine offer today - it's a nice easy drinking red at £3.99 instead of £9.99 (although I wouldn't pay more than a £5 for it - it's been on offer for £4.99 at Sainsbury. Anyway he bought two cases - 12 bottles for just under £48 - and the lovely lady on the checkout offered him a Sun, helped him take out the voucher and saved us £6 :-) Thank you and well done Morrisons!Downshifted
