Has your daughter been given a ssp1 form by her employer explaining why she is not entitled to ssp? Is an apprenticship classed as training or employment?Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Well she started the placement in June last year & was told she was on a 3 mth trail & that's when the course would start how ever they still didn't star her on the course / training & still not how ever I spoke to the training provider & they should of started her with 4 weeks how ever that's an other post lol so I am not sure if she is classed as trainee but the pay her apprentaship pay of £2.60 a hr I think there just using her for cheap labour ..!0

Oh & she is now pregant0

as she is just over the £102 per week on the NMW for apprenticeships, I would think she qualifies - however if not for reasons not known here to us - they need to give her the SSP10

OP, you hint above that your daughter is not yet an apprentice but if that is the case then she should be earning at least £3.68/hr or £4.98/hr depending on her ageBe Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
