I usually get mine from Lidl - their Gold decaf is £1.49 for 100g and tastes nice too. Hubby drinks their espresso but that keeps creeping up in price but he won't be put off. He is terribly fussy with his coffee.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I used to be like that with nescafe and wouldn't drink anything else, then tried Asda/Tesco Gold blend. We really like it. Found that buying nescafe out of places like b&m or poundstretcher it was the cheap brazillian blend and had a kinda chicory taste.
Lidl espresso is very nice for that first cuppa in morning

However, a couple of months back, I bought Sainsbury's Rich Roast and now prefer that to all the others. It sells at around £2-60 for 300 gms but the price varies +/- 20p from time to time.
I recommend this one as well. Tesco's also do the same Rich Roast. Previously I bought Nescalf.0 -
Don't know if anyone has tried Kenco Millicano - I love it! They have the refills in Morrisons at the mo for £2.00 for 85g. You can reseal the refills so even if you don't have a container it's still fine.
I think the offer is on for a couple of weeks?0 -
Anybody else notice that Douwe Egbert have quietly reduced the size of their jars from 100g to 95g, bit naughty, wonder if they all follow suit now ????0

Sainsburys - Douwe Egberts Pure Smooth Instant Coffee 95gms (red label) reduced from £3.59 (ridiculous price would never pay that:eek:) to £1.80 today. Not many left on the shelf, so obviously a good buy.
I don't drink Instant Coffee, but OH does and the price is creeping out up every month.
Hope this helps somebody.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0 -
Having bought virtually all the brands of instant coffee over the years, I was happy to stick with Nescafe (or sometimes Kenco) rather than the lesser known brands or supermarket own-labels.
However, a couple of months back, I bought Sainsbury's Rich Roast and now prefer that to all the others. It sells at around £2-60 for 300 gms but the price varies +/- 20p from time to time.
Worth a try, as it is consistently lower than the deal-prices of the big brands.
I only buy decaff coffee but none of the offers of the better brands seem to compare in price to Sainsburys Rich Roast decaff, which is £1.34 per 100g (£2.69 unit price for 200g jar) - gone up from £1.24 per 100g in the last few weeks.
Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper than this?2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!
