Move to Germany...Bridging loans

Hello. I'm new here I am looking for any advice.

A relative is looking to sell a freehold here in the UK and move to Germany.
We have been in contact with Sparkasse Bank about a property. At some stage we will be visiting to discuss financing etc.

Has anyone here had any experience of bridging loans in Germany?
Are they called the same?

    They do indeed !

    When moving into Germany's North, the correct term is most likely "Zwischenkredit" , when moving into the South (including Austria) , you should be asking for a "Zwischendarlehen" (if I'm not mistaken).
