self employment and a 2nd job

Hi i am just looking for some much needed advice please... I am self employed and have just taken on a second job. Could anybody help me with what i need to do or tell with regards to the tax office and tax credits?
I have looked all over the website and googled this but havent got any where.

Would appreciate any advice. Many thanks

    Is the new job part of the same self employment, a new form of self employment entirely or PAYE

  • If you are already self employed you don't need to tell the tax office anything - just fill in the relevant sections on the S/A form.

    You need to inform tax credits and also give them a revised income figure which will be the profit from S/E plus whatever the second job is as well.
