I wanna.. POLICE/Sting ticket presale/info pls

Anyone happen to know anything about sale/presale ticket info please? I'm dead excited about them touring and would love to know where I can get tickets from.

I'm dead excited too - was a bit too young to see them last time they toured !!!

I watched the webcast on Monday night and joined up to their Tour Fanclub (the free bit not the $100 bit !) and the email they sent me this morning showed the pre-sale starts TODAY but thats for the dates in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and New York. I can't find any evidence anywhere of any confirmed UK dates apart from the mention that it will be August / September.

I have to say that to shell out $100 to join the fanclub and be in with a shout of pre-sale tickets is a bit of a cheek. I got lured into joining Robbies club (for the missus obviously) for his pre-sale and I'm not sure I've got VFM from them at all !!

Where were you looking to buy tickets for?
As far as I'm aware (and I'm fairly sure) no dates for a Police tour had been set in the UK or Europe (some USA and Canada dates have been set - these go on sale on 17th Feb for those interested).
The only information was that the European dates would be sometime in the autumn - probably September/ October or even later
Therefore since no specific concerts have actually been announced for the UK then there is no rush for tickets. Yet!
The website to keep checking for information on the tour (and the band in general) appears to be https://www.thepolicetour.com
If I were you I would sign up to any mailing lists on there as well as the band forum and any other mailing lists or forums on Police fansites. Sometimes bands have pre-sales for fans on their mailing list or in their fan-site. (Though keep an eye on MSE too as they are links are often around!)
It looks like there is a fanclub of which details are on the website mentioned but whether joining would help you get tickets or be good value I have no idea I'm afraid.
I would also join up to the mailing lists of all the major ticket companies (Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Ticketline, Ticketweb) to get information in advance of when tickets go on sale.
Then if you don't get any in a presale get onto the websites of the ticket agencies well before the start of the general sale, press refresh lots and with a mix of luck and perseveremce hopefully you'll succeed.
Ebay is usually a last resort.
I hope that you succeed in getting some when available.
