Tescos online have a tin of allinsons easy bake yeast 100g "makes 14 loaves" for 99p.
Tesco own brand yeast sachets are 79p for 8 (so £1.20 for 12.)

Haven't compared asda or sainsburys but probably similar. HTH.

hi, i use the allinsons tin when i make dough or bake bread in my breadmaker. i have a panasonic bread maker and the measurement for a medium loaf or pizza dough is 1/2 teaspoon, which gives me more thatn 14 loaves worth. without looking (im in work at present) i think its says 7g on back of tin but when i weighed half a teaspoon (sad i know) it said 4g. it might help someone.
