That happened to me a few years back when Instyle mag was giving away Elemis PCMC. I ordered a few copies with some groceries and they turned up without them. I sent them straight back.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Ladies, such, pretty colours and beautiful nails, thank you for posting your photos. Time for another coat of Nail Envy here. If I can find my camera, I guess I should take pics of my shorties in the hope that I will be able to do "after" pics in a while.

JARUS- I find avon's mira cuticle is very good and I wonder why I don't use it more often! It makes my hands look presentable and they look awful atm so I will have a little manicure (without nail polish- I'm afraid that wouldn't work sawan as people have said if you were to unexpectedly pass away with nail polish on you cannot be cleaned properly :/ ah well!)

Adilade, as well as keeping your cuticles looking good and your nails neatly filed, would you be allowed to just buff your nails very, very lightly and keep looking nice by rubbing in almond oil, coconut oil or something similar. I always notice when someone's hands look naturally lovely, as well as noticing nicely painted ones.:)

Errr hello, somehow the beginning of February has bypassed me :o and I've not been able to get on here much so I've neglected to read and catch up. Will go and catch up with January and then read the last 8 pages and try to jump in. I have a UU to declare though, Yardleys English lavender soap. WIBA?: Didn't buy, it was a gift but I love the smell of this. I don't like how scummy it makes the bath though so I think that I WNBA. Oh well.

  • Yay I have another UU - I was irritated with myself for having multiples of the same product on the go at the same time as it then takes forever to use up, Glad of it now as I'm using them up together too!

UU BS Cocoa Butter body butter - WIBA - yes, but as previous comment. when I've used up everything else!

The consultant has recommended I use SLS-free tooth pastes. Of course all the half-tubes have SLS :((don't ask, I merely repeat what the consultant said!) so had to buy MORE toothpaste . He recommended a sensodyne one but said 'but that's £4 a tube so we recommend dentalux complex 3 from Lidl' Turns out it's 49p a tube :j .

Not been on here for 2 days and have about 4 pages to catch up on!
That's really interesting what your consultant said, and a great price too :D

At last, the LHJ Cowshed hand cream has come to an end. Been using it every night (minus a couple of hoildays) and it has taken a year to shift the 300mls. WIBA? Well I am one of the few on this board that likes Cowshed stuff but I did get a bit bored with it and in the last few weeks I don't feel that it has been strong enough to cope with the effects of the bad weather. So I WNBA but if it was a gift - fair enough.

    Now onto the S & G Hand Food :T

UU halos & horns hair & body wash - WIBA? I'm not sure. I got it when I had a keratin treatment on my hair because it was the only SLS free shampoo I could find in tesco :rotfl: . I don't have that anymore but it's good and I liked the smell. So maybe one day, I guess. Not on my list of essentials though! :p

Evilsquid: Glad I'm not the only one obsessed with holiday toiletry preparation!

Another UU, thanks to hubby: Superdrug peppermint & tea tree shampoo. I liked it when I first started using it, but after a while it made my hair go really lank. So OH got told to use it ;) Needless to say, WNBA.
