I am fairly new to MSE, not making a great success finding my way around PM's, sorry to have duplicated message somewhat, I will get my head round it eventually!

Thanks for that, I think I will start adding Nail Envy to my "to do" list. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

That's alright maddiemay
Adela31 I have heard lots about Nail Envy. It's going on my list too. I've also heard good things about the Mavala strengthener. I won't buy both though!
I used to count nail varnish INs, until I lost count
Got my lavendar L'Occitane hand cream out & now at work. I love this one, I'd definitely say L'Occitane hand creams are now my HG. My skin has been so awfully dry this week with the weather
Welcome back Lady M & Blue Elephant
Rosemary, I would also just put in on the radiator
Trudij ditto what VALM said. There's no point risking not going, just sell the ticket if he does manage to get you one!

I'm in again for the month! I've shown a lot of restraint this year already. Instead of buying things in shops, I've been looking them up on ebay and adding them to my wishlist and then just forgetting about them! one UU last night:
Green People Fruitful Nights Night Cream - WBA it did the job and smelt nice.
on to my origins sample now. they've both got about 3/4 days worth in them. will be a nice boost to my countDo you use it every other day? I find I forget then end up using once every 3 or 4 days, I wondered about using it every day to start as my nails are in a very poor state (health problems mostly), one of the QVC presenters confessed to doing this for the first couple of weeks. Any nail hints would be appreciated I have enough lovely polish to fill a small warehouse, and only nubbins to paint it on.:)
like Adela31 i use mine as a base coat. my nail polish chips every few days so I'm always redoing them and topping it up. my nails are much stronger than they used to be, they don't peel as much now or break as easily.0 -
Try Nail envy instead of a and e tokki, Its my miracle product. I now get nail technicians ommenting on how strong my nails are, instead of having to get extensions.
I love nail envy, I only had a&e, because it was given to me in a set.
I am actually on a major nail polish ban for 2012. I'm not allowed to buy a single nail polish. It's really hard, but it's for a good cause, so I'm just going to stay away from temptation and try not to look at new collections. I had almost 300 polishes last year, and have been doing really well at selling them off, I'm down to about 150 now. I love anything by OPI, so it's really hard!:(No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I hope you don't mind me answering/giving my opinion.
I had really brittle nails for over 10 years of having acrylics in my teen's and early 20's. Since then, I took vitamins and basically used base coat every single time I would put on nail polish. I also am religious about cuticle and nail oil, and my nails have been wonderful.
The other mistake I made was cutting my cuticles, I wish I never cut them but just pushed them backNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

move over on the naughty step my Clarins has arrived:rotfl:got a surprise bonus as the packer put an extra body lotion from the bonus pack in:)....in my defense I bought it in january so not counting as an in for frugal feb!
part of the parcel was the new santal face oil ...was a tad put out to find it smells exactly the same as some from another make I have had for ages which was much cheaper:(one of the samples was a tiny 2ml bottle of the oil complete in a box....I love Clarins samples so cute:rotfl:
also another surprise in was a richard ward shampoo and conditioner which were sent instead of a nightie(which I didn't really want) a freebie for buying a mag sub(funny thing is they messed up on my bank debit and so have not paid for it or received the mag but still got the freebie:))there was also a big big hair brush which is no use to me so will see if DS2s girl would like it
also got some dahlia tubers which say plant in April!why do they send these things so early?my seed pots are freeezing in the shed:(0
